Coming Soon

I just couldn’t resist doing a vintage design with this little stork image and some Jenni Bowlin goodies. The soft yellows and greens make it perfect for either gender.

Fresh From God

Truly…the button and the paper on this card DO match. I’m not sure what is up with how the light was hitting that button!

Sorry so short but I’m still on the mend!

Take care!

Some New Printables

I have another digital image Printable available at every thing creative called Getting Sentimental and today, a super quick post on printing on Kraft.

Good Things Come

Good things come… to those who wait. And wait. And wait. But I’m so excited that my waiting is ALMOST over! Here’s a photo of things in progress on Saturday. I’m hoping by the beginning of December, I’ll be all moved in. What a great present this year!

As for me…no headache this week but I do have the nastiest cold. I now have no voice whatsoever. I’m hoping to get back to creating soon!

Take care and stay healthy!

Rock a Bye … a sneak peek

I’m back stamping! And I’m so excited to share a sneak peek of my latest stamp set with you. I have to admit, this one is my favorite. I’ve been wanting a vintage baby set for so long and then actually had the opportunity to design one myself. This set is near and dear to my heart. I love being a mom and I love babies. There is just nothing like them. I’m probably going to sound a little over the top when I say this but designing a stamp set is a lot like giving birth. There’s joy and pain and effort, time and so much patience and if you want to create great set, you put your heart and soul into it as well. This set is my last for the moment and it’s definitely a labor of love. Hope you like. Here’s a little peek…

Have a beautiful day!

I love Canvas

I’m so excited to be starting a new mini album. It’s a gorgeous 8×8 Canvas album and over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing different pages and tutorials with it. I can’t wait to see where the project goes. This week I made a start on it using stitching and beautiful trims. This album is going to be a tribute album of my mom. In the right picture, she’s the middle sister on her father’s knee in the late 1930’s. Doesn’t look like getting her picture taken was quite her plan at that moment. She’s also the little girl on the left in the car photo. These pictures are all I’ve found so far of her at a very young age. I wish there were more. I think it’s a good thing that this album is canvas and not paper. There may be more than a few tears shed on it.

The Beginning

I have a tutorial on this project today. Stop by and check it out at the CLASSroom.

Check back in tomorrow as I actually have another project made. This time it’s a sneak peek at my latest stamp set.

Happy creating!

Block by Block

I have a quick card to share with you today. Life has been rather busy lately and I’m trying to get caught up. I actually did a mini-marathon Christmas shop yesterday and feel much better as I have more than half my presents bought. I like to get that done before December.

I’ve also been busy with a few other projects. I did get that dresser finished and I love it. If you’re interested you can check it out here.

My sewing machine also got used for something other than paper crafting! So fun to see some new pillows adorning my home. One is created from a sweater and the other you can see here, is an every thing creative project.

On the clean up front…I’m super excited to be getting some goodies ready for a local Scrapbook Garage Sale. Hubby’s busy working on my new room and I cannot wait!

Take care and thanks for stopping by!

It’s a Stick Up

It’s the time of year that just keeps getting busier and busier! Can you believe just seven weeks left till Christmas?! Sorry if I’m scaring someone. 🙂 I’ve started a little of  my holiday shopping already and hope to be mostly done by the end of this month. This year I really want to slow things down a little. I’m also making a commitment to actually MAILING my Christmas cards this year. Novel concept I know. sigh. That being the case I want them ready to go by the end of this month. That means a few more quick cards for me. Having just finished this super easy and quick Christmas card using Basic Grey chip stickers, I thought it would make a good challenge. So stick’em up and pull out your stickers. Let’s have some fun! Check out the challenge here…
