Don’t you just love the month of June? The flowers are stunning, the weather beautiful and there’s a wonderful summer just ahead.
As I mentioned yesterday, I’m excited about June this year as I had the opportunity to be one of June’s guest designers for Up the Street Scrapbooking kits. Opening the kit was like Christmas. So many beautiful goodies to play with and some I’ve been dying to get my hands on. I’ve been slowly scrapbooking my wedding pictures (yes I know I’m about 20 years late) and enjoying getting them into an album.

All the product on this layout comes from June’s Up the Street kit. For closeups…scroll down a post as I have them in the sneak peek. There is a beautiful gold Hambly transparency that I’ve used to anchor this designand also die cut some pretty butterflies with.
This card is also made with items in the kit. You can find a few items in both projects such as the Maya Road envelopes and the pretty Prima flowers. On both projects, I’ve dyed the white flower blue. The layout flower is spritzed with Glimmer Mist and the card flower sponged with Distress Ink. You can see how each give a slightly different style and appearance.
