No Place Like Home

There’s just no place like home is there? I love getting away but I love coming home just as much. A place where you can relax, live and just be yourself. Home holds a special place in our lives so it’s no wonder that a very prevalent trend in paper crafting right now is home themed product. For today’s challenge on Splitcoaststampers, I’d like to challenge you to find ways to use home items in your crafting. Whether it’s a little house, a stamped image, a paper pieced home, or even some home furnishings, I’d love to see how you use this hot trend. Check out the challenge here.

From Our House to Yours

I had so much fun creating this whimsical card scene from some sweet patterned paper, little chipboard houses, stamps and sticky back canvas. I’ve used the Mi Casa stamp set and the Cling Ledger stamp by Hero Arts.

Quick Tip: Think of different materials to use besides paper to add a little fun texture. Here I’ve stamped on Sticky Back Canvas for the cloud shape.

Supply List: kraft cardstock by Bazzill, Mi Casa & Cling Ledger stamp sets by Hero Arts, canvas flower & patterned paper by Jillibean Soup, twine, chipboard houses & heart pin by Maya Road, paper clip by Advantus, Jet Black Archival Ink and Antique Linen Distress Ink by Ranger, Sticky Back Canvas by Advantus, sewing machine, Shell pink and Aqua Paint Dabbers by Ranger

Happy Stamping!
