I adore Kraft cardstock. I ran out the other week and had to run to the Scrapbook store right away to get more. I bought a whole pack of it because I go through it so quickly. As it’s one of my staple supplies and for the last few weeks on the Ways to Use it Challenge we’re been focusing on cardstock staples such as black and white, I thought we’d just keep on with that theme for at least one more week. I have a few favorite ways of using Kraft…using it as a neutral layer, stamping on it with white craft ink and my latest favorite, stamping on it and then coloring with colored pencils. I love the unique look and the pop of color, especially when using pastel shades and white pencils. I’d love to have you play along. Check out the challenge here.

This sweet image is put together into a scene with some very basic masking and then adding colored pencils. The bird, gate and tree are all from Kim Hughes’ latest release, Summer Trees. I love how well it coordinates with her other sets and especially the Spring Trees set. Summer Trees is released today.

I seem to have almost run out of my favorite Fancy Pants Fashion Sense pins so I pulled out some beads and these little pins I picked up at the jewelry section at Michael’s to make my own.
