Mice on Monday

I have to admit…I’m not much of a mice fan in real life.I know it’s lame but I do like to stand on chairs when I see one. The joys of an old farmhouse make this an occasional occurrence. Now stamped mice…that’s a different story, especially these sweet little Friendly Kritters mice. I’m keeping this post short and sweet as it is the Victoria Day holiday here in Canada and I’m ready to get out and enjoy the fresh air and spend some time with my family. It’s also my best friend’s birthday today so we’re all hoping to hit the lake and enjoy the day. Wishing you a very happy birthday Rebbecca!

Here’s a close-up of the copic Maker coloring. To get the very subtle highlights on the pea pod for the shape of the peas, I simply used my colorless blender pen. I found this gorgeous textured charcoal grey cardstock by Bazzill at my local scrapbooking store. I paired it up with a light olive color for a clean spring look.
