Color Challenge

I had NO idea where I was going with this card and color challenge when I started. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Usually though, the journey is fun! I like this fun fresh color combo for spring. To play along, follow this link… This card is 5 1/4″ square. I just love that size and working with a square shape. It is a little harder to find envelopes, but the extra surface area to work with makes it so much more fun. Bottom layer of this card is stamped with Petal Prints daisies. The celery layer is stamped with a retired SU background stamp, By Definition…I love the flexibility of the words. The next layer, I was just having a little fun….I wanted to try out a graphic look for this fun combo so I decided to see what a little grid would look like. The squares are 1″square and sponged on the edges. Once I got to the top layer…hmmmm….what to do! I didn’t want to cover up the design of the squares but stamping much on them might be kind of tricky. A layer of acetate! Perfect! I stamped the sentiment in black stazon on the front. The white stazon flowers are then stamped on the reverse. Stazon is a fabulous ink that will stamp on virtually anything! Black stazon is a fabulous basic for every stamper to have. White is my second fave and they are making cool new colors available all the time. The acetate layer is stitched on the card front and then I adhered the Prima flower with a glue dot. The center of the Prima is actually a peewter brad. To make it tone in, I covered the brad with eggplant craft ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Voila….a perfect match. Descent into a universe of great sizes with the assistance of https://proessayhelp.org/ educational ghostwriting service. I found a little scrap of this stitched celery ribbon on my desk to finish it off.
