A Classic Girlfriend Note

Once again, cleaning up my scraps last night! Had to make a card. Of course…I could probably make about 1000 cards with what is on my desk. LOL This was a small scrap of One Heart One Mind paper I had left. It is double-sided so I split it in half so that I could use both patterns and then covered the seam with some dotted ribbon. Why did I call it classic? Classic layout, classic combo of pink, white and black, classic pairing of dots and stripes, a few classic stitches, a little bling…just a fun little take on classic girl style. I WAS done this card, but I just had to go back and tuck a little row of white scallops under the pink dotted ribbon. I love how the echo the scalloped flower and the scalloped lace on the slip. Also, you can’t see it in the pic, but the trims on the slip are highlighted with a Sakura Glitter pen to add a little more fun. This card just screams girl to me…so much so that I want to giggle every time I see it.
