Traditionally, the 21st birthday has been a special one. I think it depends on where you live but historically you were considered an adult at 21 and able to have the key to your parents home. Wow! Things have changed.
Last week my son’s fiancee turned 21 and I created a card and gift bag just for her. Shannon loves yellow and so of course, my projects just had to have yellow accents.
The accompanying gift bag is a tiny one as you can see. My son had bought her a charm bracelet for her birthday and I was able to give her a couple charms to add to it.
Butterflies always seem to be in style and I love adding them as accents to a floral design. I’ve used one of my favorite new Maya Road products on this design, the linen mini banner pieces. They have such a fabulous texture and just like the canvas banner pieces, are wonderful for stamping on.
Shannon is a lovely girl and a wonderful match for James. I recently snapped this picture of the two of them in the park. They are very busy right now making their future plans. It’s an exciting time.
