color pop

It’s Monday!

Anyone need a hit of color to get the week rolling? I know I do!

I always love mixing things up so here’s a fun color combo and paper combo for you. I’ve mixed two papers from the new Lily Bee Design Picket Fence line with the Happily Lost line, also by Lily Bee, for a fun fresh look. Both will be available soon. I can’t wait! I’ve also used one of my favorite flowers again…the Medallion Flowers by Maya Road.

Supplies: Picket Fence & Happily Lost patterned paper by Lily Bee Design, white cardstock by Bazzill, flowers by Maya road, White Glitter Thickers by American Crafts, Tiny Attacher by Advantus

Have a bright and beautiful day!

Simply Saturday. Simple Flowers.

Whew!

Another busy week has flown by.

Seems that right now, all I have time for is simple so this is it!

edited to add… I didn’t make these flowers. They are the medallion flowers by Maya Road. 🙂

Have a simply wonderful weekend!

Here’s a quick card today…just for fun.

It’s a hodgepodge of pieces from my craft room. It’s fun to put them together and see what you come up with.

Mwah…

Banner Bliss

It’s no secret that I love banners.

I also love creating for my home.

Yesterday I created this fun banner to add a touch of spring to my home.

It’s now hanging in our eating area and it’s making me smile.

Using the Picket Fence line and all my favorite goodies, this banner is so “me”.

Want to learn how to make one? Stop by the Lily Bee blog for the tutorial and step outs.

Before you go…here’s a newsflash! Lily Bee Design is holding a design team call. It’s a seriously fabulous team to be on. Love it! Here’s the details. I know you’re going to want to take a peek. Good luck!!!

Have a blissful day!

Spring

I just can’t quite decide if March has come in like a lion or a lamb.

Truth be told…I think it’s somewhere in between. It’s well below freezing but a strong wind is supposed to blow us in some  warmer (read right around freezing here) temperatures today. I’m hoping this means spring is around the corner and we can expect a lovely exit to winter. Yesterday would be good.

Are you ready for Spring?

As you can see, I certainly am! I just can’t stop using fresh spring color and lots of print and patterns. OK. Well, the prints and patterns mixed up is nothing new for me but this has a very “springy” look. It’s my blog so I can make up words to use here, right?

This card uses a really fun sketch from Paper Crafts magazine, the latest March/April 2011 issue. Love it! The little squares are adhered to Inchies to give them dimension. Paper is from the Paper Girl line by Girls’ Paperie. Makes me think of Spring every time!

Thanks for stopping by!
