Stamp it Cards… Hop to the Challenge

sic-2010.jpg

Stamp It Cards is one of my most favorite magazines each year. I look forward to getting my hands on it and sitting down with some French Vanilla for some fresh inspiration. While I love paper crafting in many different styles and products, stamping is something I come back to time and time again. There is something wonderful about the magic of making an impression and creating with rubber. Stamp It cards is always full of great ideas and I love seeing the different stamps and trends each year. This issue was particularly exciting for me as this is the first year that I not only have some designs in this issue but some stamp sets I designed as well.

This post is part of a fun blog hop of some Stamp It Cards designers and Moxie Fab World. I hope you’ll join us today for some fun stamping inspiration and then get crafting yourself. Here’s a few things you don’t want to miss…

  • stop by each of the following blogs and leave a comment on each for 12 chances to win an incredible prize from My Cute Stamps. How does TWELVE stamps sets for one lucky winner sound? Check them out here at Moxie Fab World.  Now how cool is that for some stamping fun?
  • to help you get creating, make sure you check out Cath’s challenge at Moxie Fab World and play along. It’s called the Olympics of Stamping. I’m not an athlete but I could totally get into this!
  • I know some of you have been looking for Stamp It Cards at your local retailer. If you can’t find it, you can get it on-line direct from Paper Crafts.
  • lastly…after you play along with the challenge…be sure to enter your cards into the 2010 Stamping Royalty Card Contest. I was excited to win a spot last year and this year (as always) there is a great prize package for those lucky winners. Winners will be published in the Nov/Dec 2010 issue of Paper Crafts magazine. Good luck!

I admit it…I did go a little stamping crazy on this design. I was having so much fun I didn’t want to stop. This design actually illustrates my favorite thing about stamping. You can stamp on almost anything, make it your own. For this card, I stamped and inked a tag, stamped on some Crystal Clear Plastic to make my own transparency and stamp some text to alter the cute pink brad.
