Make a Wish Come True…

I’m so excited to be part of Gina K’s latest Stamps for a Cause promotion. From the sale of each fabulous just released Make a Wish Stamp set, $7.00 will be donated to the Make a Wish Foundation. As a mother of 5 healthy children, I am so blessed. Many children are not so lucky and spend their time in hospitals and in fear of what the future may hold. The Children’s Make a Wish Foundation helps make wishes come true for these children. You can help make a difference by supporting the Make a Wish foundation (Canadian Make a Wish Foundation HERE) either directly or by purchasing this darling stamp set.

I just love this new Make a Wish stamp set. It is so pretty and soooo flexible. With four separate images and five very flexible sentiments plus a bonus sentiment if you purchase unmounted…you are sure to have almost every occasion covered. I also love how Gina makes two styles of rubber mounts. The unmounted rubber comes with a great cling backing making it very quick to put on a clear mounting block and stamp. The unmounted rubber option is also great for storage and comes at a lower cost. For those who love their wood mounted stamps 🙂 that option is available as well. Both sets come in a plastic storage container to keep your set together.

Wishing you Well

This wishing well brought to mind a warm fall look and seeing as I had some new Cosmo Cricket patterned paper…I thought it would a perfect time to try it out. The Real Rust and Sage Shadow color combo is a new one for me and I love the contrast. The burlap is from a piece of 12×12 that I picked up at my local camera store last year. I’ve been trying to find a source or manufacturer for it on-line since. If you know of one, I’d love to hear about it! I love the texture it adds! I also love this new May Arts ribbon! I’ve been designing with it a lot lately and you are going to see it popping up everywhere!

Supply List:

Stamps: Make a Wish – Gina K

Ink: Palette Noir – Stewart Superior, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Sage Shadow, Soft Sky, Creamy Caramel – SU

Make a Wish

I just love this fun cake stamp. The stars on it work perfectly with the star background…stay tuned for a card with that image tomorrow! 🙂 I paired it up with the fun dotted Tres Jolie paper by My Mind’s Eye and pulled out a Close to Cocoa, Rose Red and Soft Sky color combo. The cake is watercolored with my aquapainter and then the stars and icing are highlighted with Crystal Effects to add some dimension and fun. I strip of soft blue May Arts velvet ribbon adds some texture and the Prima flower adds to the festive girlie look. What’s a birthday without a little bling?! The rhinestone flower center is from Making Memories. You all know how I love to add a little stitching to my design. I couldn’t find my brown thread so I quickly pulled out my Stampin Up Mat Pack and added a little faux stitching to the top of the design.
