One of the things I love most about paper crafting is how it brings people together. Sending someone a card is a great way to touch their lives whether they live nearby or far away. With this internet age, paper crafting also brings people together who might never have met otherwise. One of my best friends I’ve actually only met once. Funny thing is, it was long after I got to know her.
This friend of mine has a birthday today. She’s talented, funny, loyal and always inspires me.

My new Head Over Heels line from Lily Bee Design won’t be shipping until October but I just couldn’t resist sharing a card with it today. It’s a little peek of what you can do with it. Head Over Heels is a love/valentine themed line but I’ve designed it so that it can be used for so many things. I loved turning it into a birthday card. The Swoon floral paper is perfect for fussy cutting which I’ve done here and then added on some sparkle with Stickles.
The ABC stickers from Lily Bee have been a huge hit. I love how they are the perfect size for card sentiments and for adding accent journaling on layouts.
