nature’s congrats

Well. I did it.

This year I actually submitted to the Paper Crafts Magazine Gallery Idol.

In the past I just couldn’t bring myself to try out and last year when I really wanted to, it was closed to international participants. I was disappointed but so glad when it was opened back up to everyone this year.

It’s a crazy time of year here so I ended up just having time Monday afternoon to create one new card for it.

It was quick. I had fun creating it. That’s what matters. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

Anyone else looking forward to the announcement Friday on the top 20 finalists? I can’t wait to see the designs chosen out of over 1500 submissions. Wow! It’s going to be fun voting each week!

Do you play along? Do you vote during Gallery Idol?

Supplies: kraft cardstock by Bazzill, crepe paper ribbon by Tattered Angels, Birds on Branch Chipboard by Magenta,  Leaf Trinket Pins by Maya Road, rub-ons by Pink Paislee, All Occasion Messages stamp set by Hero Arts, Jet Black Archival Ink by Ranger, twine, flower by Prima

Thanks for stopping by!
