simply saturday…a +

Busy, busy week coming up here. That last week or so of school is always a little crazy, isn’t it? My teenagers are gearing up for exams and the little ones are counting down the days left of school. The end of June marks the end of the school year here in Canada and we are anxious to get our summer party started.

The end of each school year also brings cards and gifts for the teachers and here’s a simple teacher card that’s easy to find the time for this time of year.

This card needed a little texture to make it fun. The Studio Calico Fabrips are adhesive backed making them so easy to pleat and adhere to the design. To make sure everything stays in place, I’ve added some twine and then zig zag stitched it to the card.

Supplies: Fabrips by Studio Calico, corrugated letters by Jillibean Soup, Elementary Collection patterned paper by Studio Calico, Tiny Attacher by Tim Holtz, sewing machine, twine

Have a simply wonderful weekend!
