chalk it up

It’s been a while since I’ve made such a “stampy” card. Going back and dusting off some old supplies and combining them with new stamps always gives things a fresh look.

I’ve always loved using chalks but lately they’ve been forgotten in the bottom of one of my craft drawers. Today’s Ways to Use It challenge is a great time to pull them out and give them a whirl again.  Chalks are so easy to use and I love their soft dreamy feel. I remember the first time I saw the simple Versamark and Chalk technique and couldn’t wait to try it out. The soft dreamy look is so pretty and timeless. I’d love to have you play along with today’s challenge! Check it out here.

Quick Tip: Liquid Applique is great for adding dimension. The soft textured puffy surface achieved when heating it is perfect for chalking.
