Oh Dear

If you haven’t heard the big news of the weekend, Cornish Heritage Farms is closing it’s doors and looking for a buyer. Although I am no longer affiliated with CHF, this makes me very sad. Their Backgrounders and Scrapblocks were among my very favorite stamps to use and this also means that all the stamp sets I designed for them will no longer be in production, at least for the near future. If you’ve never checked out my stamps or wish to order any before they are gone, check out my Stamps Designed Page. Best wishes Richard and Liz on your new venture.

Ellen Hutson is saying good-bye to CHF and clearing out her impressive investment in their product lines. If you’d like some CHF rubber, this is a fabulous sale and every CHF stamp is 40% off. Act quickly as once it’s gone, it’s gone. Ellen had 455 different CHF SKU’s yesterday and is now down to a selection of 351 twelve hours later. You can find her CHF stamps sale here.

Today I thought I’d share a design using some CHF stamps I created. The Newspaper Ads Scrapblock and Baby Dear were the last I designed for CHF and were truly a labour of love.

I’ve paired up the stamps with the Basic Grey Cappella line of paper. It’s so beautiful and while designed as a wedding line, works well for so many other things. I said I’d still be playing along with the Card Patterns sketches when I can and so I’ve used the classic and elegant sketch 71 as a great jumping off point for this design.

Hope your week is off to a great start!
