Smile

It’s National Scrapbooking Day! Do you have plans? I’m hoping to get into my craft room to make at least one layout. If the weather holds I’m planning on taking some of the boys to a local war of 1812 reenactment. Should make for a fun afternoon and I’ll be sure to bring my camera. Everything is a photo op these days! lol

Another Creative Scrappers sketch here. I’m totally addicted. It’s a great way to make sure I get scrapping each week. I’m enjoying a little more creative balance these days and it feels good. This is sketch number 101.

This layout is a hodge podge of little things. I stayed pretty true to the sketch and then added in some embellishments for interest. I’ve used the very beautiful Thrift Shop line for it. I adore the doily paper.

Quick Tip: I sanded the black letters to give them a more vintage feel to match the look of the layout.

Supplies: black cardstock by bazzill, patterned paper and stickers by October Afternoon, butterfly punch by Martha Stewart, Doilies by Little Yellow Bicycle, sewing machine, Origins chipboard letters by Basic Grey, Thickers by American Crafts, lace by Prima, hinge clip by Advantus, Trinket Pin by Maya Road

Happy scrapping!
