It’s amazing what a little sand can do. There’s nothing quite like walking on the beach is there? I can always feel the tension just easing away. I honor of the last long weekend of summer and the sand I hope to spend a lot of time on, I thought a Sand It challenge would be a lot of fun. Sand some edges, sand an image, sand embossing, even adhere sand to a project. Have fun with it and play along here.

One of my favorite sanding techniques is Faux Linen. It’s so easy to do. Stamp on glossy cardstock and allow t dry well. Then sand both horizontally and vertically. Sponge with ink to pick up the pattern of the sanding. On this design, I used a Cut N Dry nib by ranger to apply color to the barn using Distress Ink.

I was actually going to make an additional project for this challenge but I’ve run into a camera snag. My battery died and once again…I can’t find the charger. what DID I do with it after our last mini vacation?!
