The count down is on. Just one more week until school starts. Today we’re off for a tour of the newly renovated high school and then perhaps, shoe shopping. What was I thinking marrying a man with “square” feet. It makes finding shoes for the offspring a little challenging to say the least! 😉 Shhh… no one tell him I’m complaining. I’m quite sure he can come up with a few things about my genes as well!
I’m enjoying a little more time with my kids and found a little time to create as well. Some friends of ours had a darling new baby boy and it was fun to put together a card. While I was there, I just had to “clean up” by using a few more things off my desk. Here are the designs…
Baby Boy
For this design I mixed and matched some of my favorite Jenni Bowlin mini papers, a fabric panel by Crafty Secrets, some Basic Grey chipboard letters and a Fancy Pants pin for this sweet 4.25″ square card. Now I just need to do some shopping for a little gift to go with it. 🙂
Vintage Birthday
I wanted to play around with some more vintage elements. This design combines paper by Webster’s Pages and Making Memories along with some more goodies from the Keep in Touch Card Shop.
Quick Tip: sand foil accents such as this crown to further age them and to add a little extra interest.
