Christmas Cheer

Ok so… here I am back spreading a little Christmas cheer. lol You thought I was finished with Christmas in July. Nope. Believe it or not, I’m actually getting back into the groove of Christmas designing. Actually…the truth is that I pretty much design for Christmas year round. It may be for pub, for release or stamp designing but Christmas never seems to get too far away. Anyhow…you know how some designs you just love more than others? This is one that I really like. It just all kind of came together.

I mentioned Lisa’s new Vintage Christmas Expressions set the other day and here’s a better peek at it. Actually…it’s a peek at most of it as I put together most of the sentiments onto one large acrylic block and stamped it to create my own custom paper full of text. I love using this technique and it’s always a great look. Don’t you just love the vintage look of these sentiments? Christmas Expressions has been my favorite Christmas sentiment set and now this one is pretty much tied for first place. 🙂

Quick Tip: To make those spectacular Prima swirly rhinestone embellishments go further, I cut one in half at a natural break in the design. This makes it fit onto a card much better and gets me two products instead of one. After all…they are gorgeous but they are NOT inexpensive.
