Missing You

jks-missing-you-close.jpg

Some weeks I create so many projects that I just don’t get time to share them all. These are a couple of those projects and the first one works especially well for this time of year. There’s also so much traveling during the summer months and post cards are still a great way of keeping in touch. My second design is a quick masculine notepad, military style. Both of these projects are from the We Remember stamp set.

If you’re looking for storage solutions…I’ve recently picked up a new goodie and written a review on it for Craft Critique. Check it out here if you have the time.

Missing You

For this first design I  pulled away from the military theme of this set and just focused on the mail/missing you aspect. Pairing it up with some fun Cosmo Cricket paper you get a great travel look.

Stamps: We Remember (The Rummage Bin line) by CHF
Paper: kraft cardstock by Bazzill, patterned paper by Cosmo Cricket
Ink: Black Memento ink by Tsukineko, Cranberry Adirondack ink by Ranger, Vintage Photo Distress ink by Ranger
Other: buttons by Autumn Leaves, Linen thread, chipboard by Maya Road, sewing machine, stapler, distress crackle paint by Ranger

Masculine Notepad

It doesn’t get much easier than this! A collage stamped piece of Kraft cardstock is adhered over the notepad to make a custom cover.

Quick Tip: Combine different Spellbinders dies together for unique look.

Stamps: We Remember (The Rummage Bin line) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink: Black & rich Cocoa Memento ink by Tsukineko, Cranberry Adirondack ink by Ranger
Paper: Kraft cardstock by Bazzill

Take care!
