Joy and Beauty

I’m so excited that tomorrow is release day for Ornamental Beauty. Today I have another design for you, this time pairing it up with a new Scrapblock that I designed to coordinate with the set. You’ll have to wait a little longer for the Scrapblock, though. The CHF Scrapblock release for April is Tuesday the 14th. I just wanted to give you a glimpse at some more options for this set.

Speaking of other options, I managed to get out of my pink and brown groove. This design is black and Frosted Teal cardstock. I love how pretty these stamps are simply stamped in black ink. I’ve used my circular text stamp again, but this time paired it up with an ornamental flower image that also fits perfectly inside. My Nestability Circle dies worked perfectly to give nice even mats and perfect circle layers to highlight the stamping. Underneath, I used up my last hoarded scrap of die-cut felt from Prima. They are called Voila if you’re looking for them. I’m seriously going on a hunt for some more.

Quick Tip: look for spots in the stamped design that would look pretty highlighted with rhinestones. I love clear rhinestones especially. Anything that resembles a diamond gets high marks in my book! 😉

Thanks for stopping by and helping me to count down to release day!
