I love silent cozy nights and getting ready for the holidays. Of course it’s way to early to be thinking of snow…I hope!… but I’m still having a ton of fun making Christmas cards. I think perhaps I’d better take the time one of these days and give them a little count. I surely MUST have enough of a stash by now!
Silent Night
The Thomas Kinkade paper packs are so quick and so much fun to use. They also work so well together! I used an image from the Christmas series pack and combined it with a “solid” from the Masculine series pack. To add some quick interest and texture, I ran the patterned paper through my Cuttlebug with an embossing folder. Sponge on a little ink to highlight the embossing. Now you can’t see one of the elements I love about this design very well in this photo but I’ll still tell you about it. See the clear snowflake in the embellishment grouping? I added some pale blue stickles to the back of it and let dry before adhering to my design. It gives it a pretty glittery look.
Quick Tip: Don’t always place your image in the dead center of the design. Try and off-set design for a change!
Have a beautiful day!
