One for the Guys… a challenge

In my house…there is a high male population. One husband, FOUR sons, even the dog is male. 🙂 My daughter and I DO hold our own though! One thing I’ve noticed is that the amount of “girl” cards I design vastly outnumbers the amount of “guy” cards. I’m always racing at the last moment to come up with a masculine design when I need one. That being the case…I thought it would be fun to have a masculine challenge for our Monday theme. You can check out our challenge here…hope you decide to play along!

Want some inspiration? Check it out in my sidebar. Most of the CHF designers are playing along this week so pick a link. 🙂

I create this card for my middle son’s 13th birthday. Guy designs should be fun and funky. They don’t have to be boring without sparkle and ribbon. Be sure to add in lots of elements and texture. This design…once again 😉 , features the new Writer’s Block backgrounder. It will be released tomorrow. I had a little fun stamping it over some Basic Grey Archaic paper. Another background, AlphaNumber is stamped on the left Kraft cardstock panel.

Now if you’re looking for more CHF sneak peeks….make sure you pop over to Lisa’s blog for the latest one!

Take care and have a fabulous day!
Julia
